7:00-8:00pm  Mary Bylone presentation: Healthy Work Environment: What is it, How do I get one, and Why should I care

Mary Bylone is a nationally recognized speaker whose successful career includes several formal nursing leadership roles, most recently as regional Vice President for Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer. Teams that she has led describe her as a “Nurses Nurse,” a title she cherishes tremendously. Mary has authored many articles, contributed to book publications and produced webinars on various topics involving creating a healthy work environment. She has worked with the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN) to promote the standards of a healthy work environment for over ten years and served on the national board of directors for the organization from 2011-2014, as well as other volunteer leadership positions involving local, regional and national focus. She is also active at the state level as a charter member of the Connecticut Nursing Collaborative-Action Coalition, working to implement the recommendations from the Institute of Medicine (IOM) report on The Future of Nursing.

Directions:

The entrance is off of 101st and Wisconsin Ave - 10101 W. Wisconsin Ave.  When you enter the building there is a receptionist desk straight ahead and if you go to the left of the desk and take the hallway to your left, the Zingsheim Room will be on your right hand side about half way down the hallway.  We will have signs put up in the hallway to help with directions.  Parking is open unless listed as Resident parking.
