Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for cardiac and vascular patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient condition, implementing care plans as needed.
• Assist physicians with procedures, including patient positioning, instrument handling, and hemostasis.
• Coordinate care across disciplines and support patient discharge planning.
• Join CVU at Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis Hospital, a Quaternary Care, Level 1 Adult and Pediatric Trauma center with 17 procedural labs and 24/7 emergent care for STEMIs, strokes, and trauma.
  
  

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Required Credential(s)

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  
  

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
  
  

Additional Preferences

• Preferred ICU experience
